Airport Pick-Up Policy

The service we offer is a private hire / taxi / door to door transfer for the number of passengers you have booked to the specified destination, including airports. Generally these journeys are more staight forward.  Airport pick-ups are of specific destinctive terms of business.

- We monitor all flight arrivals for a confirmed landing time. We only use official information, like British Airports Authority (BAA).

- If your flight is either earlier, or delayed we will meet you at the new confirmed time. We do not charge for flight delays.

- If your flight is cancelled in advance or transferred to another airport, we will wait for further instructions from you. (ie new flight number/time).

- Our normal ( quoted) airport pick up is from outside the terminal. You need to have a mobile/ cell phone that is answerable after landing. Our driver usually call or text you while waiting outside the terminal in the pick-up area.  The driver/office will direct you then to the car.

- We may meet you in the arrivals hall, usually 30-45 minutes after the flight has been confirmed to land (unless otherwise agreed) but this will incur parking charges ( variable in amount depending on delay time & airport, but roughly about £5). We may ask for an advance payment for Meet & Greet pick ups. Using a greeting board to display your name/ a name of your choice, when there is no contact number to ring, is our least favourable way for airport pick ups. It is more expensive to you than turning on your mobile / cell phone and paying for roaming services.

- The first 45 minutes after landing is free of charge. Waiting beyond that is subject to an extra waiting time charge (plus car parking charge, which is variable between airports in the UK, for Meet & Greet customers).

- Our customer is liable for paying extra waiting time charge after the first 45 minutes past landing  (unless otherwise agreed)

- Our driver will generally assist you with your luggage to the vehicle.

- Our driver will show you a car park receipt as proof of waiting beyond the complementary 45 minutes for Meet & Greet customers.

Other Important information

WHEN YOU NEED TO CANCEL THE JOB (OF AN AIRPORT PICK_UP) PLEASE KEEP US INFORMED IN ADVANCE. CANCELLATION 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE IS FREE.

When you don't contact us/answer our calls after landing we will wait a maximum of 45 minutes (FREE) and 30 mins (chargeable) from the time that your plane lands, before we deem that you have "NOT SHOWN UP".

If you are going to be delayed (by immigrations or customs) longer than 45 minutes after landing, we would recommend that you call us or ask someone to inform our office or driver that you will be delayed. Please note that further waiting time and car park charges will increase dramatically after your FREE waiting time has elapsed.
